Thank you for your interest in volunteering for KUOW! Volunteering is a fun way to support the station.
We currently need volunteers for our upcoming pledge drive, October 6 – 16, 2008. We rely on volunteers, volunteer groups, volunteer room coordinators and food establishments to make our drive a success.

Individual Phone Volunteers
Volunteers answer phones in the studio during the pledge drive and record pledges over the phone. Volunteers must be able to work in a loud, busy environment, handle a high volume of phone calls and write legibly. Food and beverages are provided. Sign up now!
All volunteers are asked to complete at least one full four–hour shift.
Volunteer Groups
Volunteer groups of six or more people are recognized on air throughout their shift. To schedule a volunteer group shift, email or call Membership Program Coordinator Katy Mullen at 206.221.2501. Please provide your telephone number, email address and your group's name in your message.

Food Establishments
KUOW seeks food donations to feed phone volunteers while they are working at the station. Food establishments that donate food or beverages to KUOW volunteers receive on air recognition on the day that they donate.
