Turning Around Urban Schools

Manual High School, located in a poor section of Denver, was once of the worst schools in Colorado. It was closed for poor performance in 2006. When Principal Rob Stein opened the school a year later he could hire his own staff and set his own curriculum. Today Manual is Denver's premier urban high school.
