Community Activist
Maryfrances Lignana is a community activist and an avid gardener who works with local plant organizations for native plant restoration. She is Board Chair of Earth Ministry, whose mission is to inspire and mobilize the Christian community to play a leadership role in building a just and sustainable future. She has more than 30 years experience in marketing and project management, including management and system analysis for Fortune 500 companies and the University of Chicago. Maryfrances is an enthusiastic supporter of NPR and a firm believer in its mission. She has an MA degree in library and information sciences from the University of Chicago.
