'Greendays on Weekday'

Today's episode of 'Greendays on Weekday' takes a look at the most famous flower of all: The Rose. How do you successfully grow roses in the Pacific Northwest? What types of roses are there? How can you grow them organically? How does the Woodland Park Zoo choose which roses to grow where? Call in with your rose questions.

EJ Hook is Facilities Operations Supervisor and a horticulturist for Woodland Park Zoo. He has a degree in horticulture and landscape design and has been in the field for 25+ yrs.
Jeff Wyckoff has been a member of the Seattle Rose Society for 25 years; twice serving as the president. He is the current editor of their newsletter 'Rose Petals.' He is the National Chairman of Rose Judging and also served on the board of directors for the American Rose Society.
