Joseph Stiglitz on Globalization

Economist Joseph Stiglitz has moved from globalization and its discontents to focusing on how to make globalization work. In fact, the title of his most recent book is Making Globalization Work, and he's our guest today on The Conversation.

Stiglitz was chief economist at the World Bank from 1997-2000. Before that, he was a member of and then chaired Bill Clinton's Council of Economic Advisers. He won a Nobel Prize for Economics in 2001. He's currently a professor at Columbia University. Dr. Stiglitz will talk with us about globalization and poverty, and take your calls.
