The Most Praised Generation Goes To Work

They're been called "the most-praised generation". They're the 20-something kids of baby boomers. They've grown up getting trophies just for participating. Now they're in the workplace and employers are trying to figure out how to keep them motivated. Some companies are even hiring consultants to help figure out how to nurture the self-esteem their Gen Y workers. Today on The Conversation, close encounters with the most praised generation.

Also today, a report card on charities in the Seattle area. How well are they doing?

Plus, new proposed rules to keep peace between nightlife establishments and neighbors in Seattle. Proposals from Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels have been changed by City Council member Sally Clark. She explains how.

Sally Clark is a member of the Seattle City Council. She chairs the Council's Economic Development and Neighborhoods Committee. She just released details of a new Nightlife License Proposal for Seattle's nightclubs.
Tim Hatley is a lobbyist representing The Seattle Nightlife Association which is a coalition of music, nightclub and bar interests.
Sandra Minutti is the Vice President for Marketing at Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities in the U.S. Charity Navigator's recent study found Seattle doesn't raise funds as well as charities in 25 other U.S. cities.
