He played a key role in the creation of the now legendary rock sound of Northwest bands such as The Sonics, The Wailers, The Kingsmen, The Fleetwoods, The Ventures, and The Standells. Barton's recording techniques are rare and unusual by today's standards. In this interview, Kearney Barton describes the production style that still inspires bands from all over the world to track him down and apply his expertise to their music.

Dr. Bonnie Dunbar is a veteran of several NASA space missions and director of Seattle's Museum of Flight. The new permanent exhibit at the Museum "Space: Exploring the New Frontier" celebrates the contributions of Dr. Dunbar, a Washington state native, and all of the astronauts of the past 50 years. Today, Dave Beck visits the exhibit with Dr. Bonnie Dunbar. She'll describe some of the space artifacts to us and explain how they relate to her own space exploration experiences.

Seattle painter David Kroll is a Chicago transplant who moved to the Northwest 10 years ago, responding to the lure of the great outdoors. Not coincidentally, his own work includes lively depictions of the natural world, but Kroll's birds and bees are engaged in activities rather different then what you might see in your local woodland.
