Megan Sukys/Dave Beck
01/04/2008

Today, Mike Stork traces the history of one of the world's largest tugboat companies his book, Foss Maritime Company. We also find Shakespeare in prison and drop by a pub to discover Science on Tap, a group of scientists who give informal lectures over mugs of beer.

At 2:08 p.m. – Macbeth for Murderers
When Kenneth Bianchi was arrested for the now–famous Hillside Strangler rapes and murders, he testified against his own cousin to try and get out of being sentenced at Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla. It's the largest maximum–security prison in the state. And it's the prison even hardened convicts want to avoid. It's also where Roberta Davidson and John Kerwin taught. Roberta taught Shakespeare there, and they co–wrote a book about her time in prison called Macbeth for Murderers.
