Examining Initiative 1000

Steve Scher
11/03/2008 at 10:00 a.m.

Washington State residents face a slew of important, life–changing initiatives on the November 4 ballot. Among those is Initiative 1000. Its opponents call it "Assisted Suicide," and its supporters "Death with Dignity." How does it differ from the Oregon Law? What are your thoughts? Should the terminally ill be able to obtain a lethal dose of medication? Call 1.800.289.KUOW during the show, or email Weekday.
