Who Does Well in Hard Times?
Thousands of Washington Mutual employees got their layoff notices this week. It's just the latest round of bad economic news. That got us wondering about who is doing well despite of, or maybe even because of, hard times. Do you know of a job, a business, or a non–profit that's thriving despite the stumbling economy? What personality type is best suited to handle a recession?

Also today, a sign posted by an atheist at the state capitol has conservatives' shorts in a bunch. They're inundating the governor's office with complaints. Why? How insecure do you have to be to worry about symbols in public places, whether from an atheist or from a Christian?
