'Robin Chase Crow' With Poet J.W. Marshall
04/25/2009
Seattle writer J.W. Marshall's poem "Robin Chase Crow" prompts literary producer Elizabeth Austen to notice the way spring brings us all out of doors to interact with our neighbors — human and animal alike. Marshall is the author of "Meaning a Cloud" (Oberlin College Press, 2008), winner of the 2007 Field poetry prize. With his wife, the poet Christine Deavel, Marshall owns and operates Seattle's poetry–only bookstore, Open Books, in Wallingford.
