A honeymoon sailboat voyage may sound like a romantic getaway. But, to keep a ship on course with only two people, they both have to give equally — the same might be said of a marriage. Seattle writer Janna Cawrse Esarey learned that lesson many times when she and her husband went on a two year sail. They were newly married, and for Janna, the fights, storms, and near disasters helped her understand what it took to make it as husband and wife. Janna writes about this experience in her new book, "The Motion of the Ocean." She talks with KUOW's Jeremy Richards.KUOW does not endorse nor control the content viewed on these links as they appear now or in the future.
