First, a conversation on the week's news in Canada with Vaughn Palmer, political correspondent for the Vancouver Sun. Then, it's election time again! The primaries are just around the corner and there's a huge field of candidates running for King County Executive. Ron Sims has moved on. Who will take his place? Today, as part of "Weekday's" ongoing election coverage, we host our final forum of King County Executive candidates. Larry Phillips and Susan Hutchison will join us.

Larry Phillips is a King County council member for District 4. Previously, he served in the Washington State House of Representatives for the 36th District.

Susan Hutchison is the Executive Director of the Charles Simonyi Fund for Arts and Sciences. Previously, she was a news anchor for KIRO–TV and a board member of the Discovery Institute and the Seattle Symphony.

Vaughn Palmer is a political correspondent for the Vancouver Sun. Today he joins us from Ashland.
