Sherman Alexie is an award–winning author, poet and filmmaker. His stories detail the everyday lives of ordinary modern Indians. His most recent book, "War Dances," is a collection of short stories and poems that depict the everyday errors, successes, regrets and despairs of "ordinary men on the brink of exceptional change."
