The Sound of Noise, Part II: The Soundscape of Your Life

Steve Scher
12/11/2009 at 9:00 a.m.

There are noises all around us. Buses passing, ferry horns and seagulls. Your radiator as it heats your home or the neighbor's barking dog. Most of us learn to ignore common noises, but some people actually collect these sounds. What sounds do you hear every day? Are some of those noises beautiful when you isolate them? What is the soundscape of your life? Call in and play sounds for us or email your recordings to "Weekday." The sound of noise, on "Weekday."
