Steve Scher
01/05/2010 at 9:00 a.m.

If you watched "The Breakfast Club" as a kid, chances are you didn't quite catch that the characters became friends by smoking pot. Sometimes when you see a movie for a second time, you realize you didn't understand it at all the first time. Today, the movies we re–watch, only to say, "Oh, I get it!" Call 1.800.289.KUOW (5869).

Guest(s)

Fred Hopkins is host of Professor Fred's Movie Marvels on SCCTV. He has been attracted to 'B' movies and so–bad–they're–good movies since childhood. Fred also teaches a Schlock Cinema Course at the North Seattle Community College on Thursday nights.

Robert Horton is a film critic and longtime contributor to KUOW. You can find his reviews in the Everett Herald and at his blog, The Crop Duster. Robert also hosts Magic Lantern, a monthly series of discussions on cinema at the Frye Art Museum.
