Minnie Rose's Wisdom
Jeremy Richards
06/05/2010
If you visit Bainbridge Island, you might notice Lovgreen Road — it's named after Minnie Rose Lovgreen, who lived on the island for 55 years. Her old home is now a Bainbridge Island land trust. But when Nancy Rekow moved to Bainbridge Island in the mid 1960s, she didn't know who Minnie Rose was. Nancy and her husband had just purchased a dairy farm. They knew just enough about farming to get by. Then, soon after they moved in, they started receiving strange phone calls. Nancy Rekow talks with KUOW's Jeremy Richards.
