Battling Child Obesity

Adults aren't the only Americans battling obesity. Recent reports on the tendency towards obesity for American children have raised concerns among health officials, school administrators, parents and lawyers.Overweight children face physical and mental health challenges. Many kids are asked to fend for themselves, feed their siblings while contending with a mass media that equates eating fast foods and snacks with happiness and never shows the consequences of such a diet. Are children getting the message to eat healthy and exercise regularly? What influence do parents have on their children's health?
