King County election officials recently discovered 93 uncounted ballots from the 2004 election. The discovery has led to calls for the resignation of Elections Director Dean Logan. Former Senator Slade Gorton is calling for a criminal investigation. County officials and County Council members of both parties agree reforms are needed to improve future handling of elections. What reforms are needed? How much investigating needs to happen? Should any staff members resign or be fired?
