The Supreme Court ruled to make medical marijuana illegal, even in the states that have made it legal. The dissenting voices were Justices O'Connor, Rehnquist, and Thomas who favored state's rights over the federalist approach. What effect will this have on patients, their physicians, and law enforcement agents? What does this mean for state's ability to regulate medical practices?
