Same-Sex Marriage Supporters Clinging To Small Lead

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – Washington voters are leaning in favor of allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry. But neither side of the hard fought referendum campaign is ready to claim victory or concede defeat yet. The current vote totals on Referendum 74 have 52 percent in favor to 48 percent against.

A large crowd of same-sex marriage supporters started dancing in the streets of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood when their campaign pulled into the lead.

Wash. Governor’s Race Favors Inslee, But Too Close To Call

BELLEVUE, Wash. – Republican Rob McKenna says it could take until Friday to know the winner of Washington’s closely contested governor’s race. With a little more than half the expected ballots counted, McKenna was trailing Democrat Jay Inslee by about two-and-a-half percentage points.
