Dennis "The Worm" Rodman publicly asked his friend Kim Jong-un to release Kenneth Bae of Lynnwood, Wash. from a 15-year sentence to hard labor. Rodman made the request in response to an article by Seattle Times writer Thanh Tan.

Thanh Tan says she was serious when she challenged former NBA star Dennis Rodman to get Kenneth Bae of Lynnwood, Wash. released from a 15-year hard labor sentence in North Korea.

State Department to North Korea: Free Kenneth Bae

The State Department is asking that North Korea free Kenneth Bae, a man from Lynnwood, Wash. who was sentenced to 15 years hard labor Wednesday. North Korea had accused Bae of plotting to overthrow its government.

Senate Approves Nomination Of John Brennan As CIA Chief

After an epic filibuster by Sen. Rand Paul that lasted into the early morning hours, the Senate voted this afternoon to confirm the nomination of John Brennan as the country's next Central Intelligence Agency director.

As we reported, Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, stood on the floor of the Senate for nearly 13 hours, repeatedly asking for an explanation of the Obama administration's targeted killing program.
