Demetria Silvera Elmore is an experienced strategy and operations leader with an extensive background in business innovation, strategy development, operations design and process improvement.
She is Vice President, Brand Expedia Line of Business with Expedia Inc. In her role, she improves customer services experiences across channels through call center innovation and service process improvements.
A travel industry veteran, Demetria spent nearly a decade as an internal consultant with Marriott International. At Marriott, she launched key industry innovations such as the Marriott Rewards program’s first geo-location mobile marketing platform, orchestrated the rollout of Marriott’s first portfolio marketing strategy, and worked with other hospitality leaders to create www.roomkey.com, an online hotel booking platform. She advised a variety of internal clients on how to achieve business objectives, launch new technology platforms, identify brand growth opportunities, and create more efficient operations.
Before joining Marriott, Demetria was a consultant with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Atlanta, Georgia. Demetria holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale University. She lives in Seattle with her husband Steve, daughter Avery, and son Stephen.
