Carina Bolaños Lewen

As Marketing Associate, Carina collaboratively develops KUOW's creative communications for digital, on-air, and in-person environments. She delights in nudging pixels and punctuation to make information and human interconnection more meaningful and accessible.

Carina's communications experience spans arts and community non- and not-for-profits in and beyond the Pacific Northwest. Prior to KUOW, she was responsible for the exhibits program at the University of Minnesota Press; she has also worked in development and corporate relations at the immigrant justice organization OneAmerica and the Seattle Art Museum.

Carina holds a bachelor's degree in Science and Technology Studies from Wesleyan University. She loves to take a class, whether the subject is weaving, diving, architectural history, linguistics, or yoga.
