  • Talk Show Producer 2, The Record

    KUOW has an outstanding opportunity for a Producer on our daily news program, The Record. Reporting to the Supervising Producer, this position will produce talk/web segments for KUOW's local midday show, “The Record with Bill Radke.” This position will pitch, plan, and execute daily and long-term coverage while seeking out new voices and developing local sources. Our independent, nonprofit newsroom produces award-winning stories, podcasts and events. Each week, nearly a half-million listeners tune-in to our broadcast stream our content on KUOW.org and via smart speakers. The Opportunity… As Director, Philanthropy, you are responsible for growing KUOW’s major giving efforts (defined as those gifts $10,000+). Lead the vision, strategy, implementation and execution of all major fundraising from individuals, government agencies and foundations including planned giving and capital campaigns. You will lead a team of five talented, motivated Development Officers to achieve our annual revenue goal and also serve as a member of our Senior Leadership team helping guide KUOW for the next decade and beyond.

  • Creative Manager

    KUOW has an outstanding opportunity for a Creative Manager to lead the organization's visual strategies and design production, applying creative solutions to develop and design visual materials that enhance KUOW's storytelling. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly strategic visual storyteller, with experience developing creative strategies and graphics for many mediums. This person will lead KUOW in testing and implementing new visual strategies including but not limited to: art direction and video production for our YouTube platform, maintaining and enforcing brand standards across all visual mediums (digital graphics, print pieces, animation and video), providing creative strategy and leading design production for key marketing and fundraising initiatives, managing and reviewing creative work completed by in-house video producer and external agencies, leading visual strategy for live virtual and in-person events, and collaborating with editorial staff on visual story components such as interactive reporting pieces, videos, infographics, and more.
