FAA urged to beef up certification of Boeing 737s
More pressure has been put on the Federal Aviation Administration to toughen its certification of Boeing jets.
Today the National Transportation Safety Board says an engine fan blade failed in a way the FAA did not expect. The NTSB says the FAA needs to be more rigorous in its testing.
