Watch as President Donald Trump addresses the nation live from the White House on Wednesday. The speech is scheduled for 6 p.m. PST.

Trump announced the speech Tuesday on Truth Social, his social media platform, writing, "It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!"

Trump did not offer any further details on what his speech would be focused on in the post.

But White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News Tuesday that he'll address "all of his historic accomplishments over the past year" and may tease "some policy that will be coming in the new year, as we head into this Christmas season."

More specifically, Leavitt said two likely focuses of the speech will be border security and lower gas prices.
