Wow! You did it. You raised more than $1,000,000 in a single day to support KUOW and NPR. I am overwhelmed by the response and flooded with gratitude for our community.

You stood up for fact-based journalism, for trusted local reporting, for global coverage from NPR and for stories that keep us connected while we are apart.

During the past 24 hours, we heard from a food bank manager and a UW student, local listeners and those tuning in all the way from Virginia and Japan, long-time supporters and people giving for the very first time.

We heard from Kenneth in Everett who wrote:

"NPR isn't just a radio station, it's family. Whether it's my first cup of coffee or my last glass of wine, you're always here for me and I'm honored to be here for you."
