Control F is a podcast about data — hard, fuzzy, surprising, and sometimes unreliable data — and all the ways it influences our daily lives. In each episode, we dig deep on a topic and search through research, algorithms, and assumptions to bring you insights on how stuff works. In a world ruled by numbers, Control F reads between the (spreadsheet) lines to find the bigger story.
Control F launches on January 14, with new episodes every other week.

Clare is the senior producer for Seattle Eats with Tan Vinh, a food podcast from KUOW and the Seattle Times. She shapes the show from story selection to sound mixing, and works with the host and editors to bring a diverse set of guests on mic and engage with the show's audience.

Teo is the KUOW newsroom's design, graphics, and data editor. She manages all data visualizations, graphics, illustrations, and news video projects for kuow.org and Instagram. She also leads design and development for KUOW’s interactive enterprise graphic projects. She specializes in visualizing complex bureaucratic processes and budgets.

Phyllis Fletcher edits stories and shows at KUOW. Her previous work has reached audiences across the Northwest and around the world through NPR and its stations, American Public Media, The New York Times, Wondery, and Springer academic press. The Public Media Journalists Association named Phyllis its inaugural Editor of the Year, and the University of Washington inducted Phyllis into its Communication Department Hall of Fame.
