Photos: Hundreds of Seattleites honor Renee Good, others killed by ICE with a vigil
Hundreds gathered at Pier 58 in downtown Seattle on Thursday night for a vigil and march honoring those killed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, including Minneapolis mother of three, Renee Nicole Good. Good, 37, was fatally shot by an ICE agent on Wednesday.
"We've all seen the video," said Michael Tanaka, a representative for Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), speaking to the crowd. "We all know the truth."
"Her death leaves behind three children, including a 6-year-old son. Children who should be able to hug their mother tonight. Children who will forever be scarred by the images and videos of their mother dying."
Joining protests nationwide, Seattleites left candles, flowers, and handwritten notes to honor Good and others killed by ICE before marching along the waterfront.

Among the speakers on Thursday night was Cameron Lavi-Jones, with local band King Youngblood.
"My friends, documented and undocumented alike, are afraid to leave their houses," said Lavi-Jones. "I need you, now more than ever, to understand that the only way out is through, and the only way through, is together. I need you to hold onto hope."
"Be safe, look out for each other, and fuck ICE," Lavi-Jones said.
