This week Washington reported its highest number of cases in a single day. In response, Governor Inslee has paused any forward movement when it comes to reopening, and imposed a ten person limit on social gatherings in counties that have already moved to Phase 3. But what went wrong? Why are cases on the rise? And what will schools decide to do for the fall?

Plus, Mayor Durkan has had a busy couple of weeks. She's requested a reconsideration of the green lighting of a petition to remove her from office, and is debating SPD budget cuts with city council. Will the petition be allowed to pass? And can the mayor and city council find a compromise when it comes to police budget cuts?

Also, the West Seattle bridge has been declared a civil emergency, after being closed due to extensive cracks. The lower West Seattle bridge has also been closed due to cracking. Where does this leave West Seattleites? How quickly can we expect the bridges to reopen?

Finally, there are 37 people running for governor this year. Who stands a chance, and who's too late to make an impact?
