Robert Reich reflects on the better angels of 'The Common Good'
Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich is famously small in stature—and has a penchant for short jokes about himself — but he has big ideas about democracy, patriotism, work, leadership, and the American experiment.
Reich teaches public policy now at the University of California Berkeley. He is a best-selling author. His latest work is “The Common Good.” The book explores American ideals and the responsibilities of citizenship. He also co-created the films “Saving Capitalism” and “Inequality for All.”
He spoke at Seattle’s First Baptist Church on March 5, as part of Town Hall Seattle’s Civics series. KUOW’s Jennie Cecil Moore recorded the event.
