If you planned on seeing a doctor in the next month or so, chances are you'll need to wait. Healthcare facilities all over the state are putting off non-emergency visits as they battle a shortage of protective gear.
The challenges are forcing some nurses to come up with creative solutions, like sewing their own face masks.
