Today marks four months of Black Lives Matter protests in Seattle.

A lot has happened in that time.

Mayor Jenny Durkan is under pressure to defund the police and invest that money in communities of color.

Last week, the City Council overturned the Mayor’s veto of budget revisions taking money from the Seattle Police Department.

Durkan has committed 100 million dollars toward those communities. She set up a task force to help figure out how to spend the money.

We speak to one community leader on the task force who decided to resign.
