It’s been almost a year since Kroger and Albertsons announced a possible merger.

Now a buyer has entered the picture - C & S Wholesale Grocers has plans to snap up 104 stores in Washington for a $1.9 billion. It all hinges on approval from the FTC, but for now C &S says it doesn’t plan any major changes for employees.

Seattle Times reporter Paul Roberts is here to talk about what the sale could mean for local shoppers and workers.
